Resume/Past Experience

My education began as a journalist writing for newspapers but I’m also trained to write for magazines, shoot photography and capture HD video or high quality audio for use on TV, radio or online.

I’ve covered stories across the United States and from to Europe to the borders of Syria and Iraq.

I’ve published hundreds of stories in magazines, weekly and daily metropolitan newspapers in California, Colorado and Florida, with New American Media, Copley Press, Freedom Communications, Tribune Company, Time Warner, Hearst and several other publications or companies.

Since leaving the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, I have been freelancing in San Diego as a writer, photographer and video producer for local publications and organizations.
