Anti-Prop 8 Rally After 2008 Election

The elation felt by some Californians when Barack Obama was elected president in 2008 was very short lived. Yes, the nation had elected its first black president. but voters also approved Proposition 8, making gay marriage illegal in California.

In response, tens of thousands of people  took to the streets Nov. 16 less than two weeks after the election. A march ended at the San Diego County Administration building that borders San Diego Bay.
