Grace on cover of San Francisco Bay Guardian
Grace, who I did a photo story on a few years ago, was recently on the front page of the San Francisco Bay Guardian as part of their 2009 photography issue.
Here are the pictures I took four years ago, when I met her drinking milk cartons in front of City Hall on the Fourth of July.
I would spend a few days of the next weeks to follow her and try and get a sense of what her life is like, then a transgender prostitute with AIDS and a drug habit.
